It never ceases to amaze me. I get calls all the time from people who say they are working with multiple agents.
I can’t imagine that it’s going well. I mean, do you really think that an agent is going to jump through all the multiple hoops of this market for you knowing that you may stray from them when another agent finds them the same house as they could. Really? How’s that working for you?
Listen, the market is the market. Homes come & go but if you don’t have an agent that’s aggressive, networking with other agents to get the latest scoop on upcoming inventory & of course, working hard for you then you really are doing yourself a disservice.
Don’t you want to find the right home at the right price?
Well, it takes the right agent. Not sure what questions to ask? Here’s 3 important ones to ask.
I’ve seen it before & I know I will see it again….People hire (or don’t realize they are hiring) a lame agent who couldn’t recite the intricacies of a short sale or the complexities of the current market trends.
The problem is that the market is saturated with short sales & what you see is not what you get. Right now, traditional sales are selling with multiple offers as soon as they are listed (did you hear that sellers?)
Here’s an article from The Wall Street Journal…yup, proof that we have hit close to bottom…or did we?

What do you think?
