Even when the tide is low you can walk further out into the sand and see the flat rock reef that goes an amazing fifty yards from the shoreline. Cardiff even has their own unofficial mascot, the Cardiff Kook. The Kook even has a Facebook page dedicated to the elaborate get ups and themes he sports year round.
