Yes, Beer is at the top of San Diego’s scene.
If you know anything about beer, then you already know that San Diego ranks as one of, if not, the best beer city in the US.
Within this county, you will find a brewery pretty much anywhere go. Known for bringing home the medals, San Diego won 17 medals at the 2010 Great American Beer Festival. That’s 23% of all the categories that are judged. Not bad for America’s Finest City.

Sat 8/6/11 Del Mar Beer Fest – Sample over 50 different beers on draft from local breweries. $17 for 5 tastings. Event starts at 1pm. Del Mar Racetrack. Stay until the last race & see Weezer perform.
Sat 8/13/11 BrewFest Encinitas – A charity event held at Mira Costa College. Local breweries, Gourmet food trucks & music! $40 gets you admission, souvenir glass & 10 tasting tickets.
Fri 8/19/11 – Sat 8/20/11 Stone Brewing 15th Anniversary Celebration – Stone hosts three separate events to celebrate their anniversary. A brewer’s dinner, Session A & B festivals & a Rare Beer Festival (Rare Beer is already sold out!) Tickets start at $40.
