San Diego is becoming home to a flourishing the wine scene and we are fortunate enough to some incredible vineyards in our own backyard. If you haven’t heard of Rancho Guejito Vineyards, you MUST go visit them!
Kid and pet friendly, this local winery welcomes everyone the moment you arrive. Easy to spot alongside HWY 78 past the Safari Park on the lefthand side.
Officially opened to the public in early 2018, the history that lives here is incredibly inspiring.
Sitting on 36 square miles, this parcel was originally apart of the Mexican Land Grant ranches in 1845 before California was a state. Stretching from Escondido, Valley Center & Ramona, this is one of the last contagious ranchos in all of California.
The wine varietals offered at this vineyard are unique and enjoyable. Cabs, Zins, Rose, Viogner, Chardonnay, that’s just to name a few.
Try four 1oz tastes for $10 and hop on a free hay ride!
A 20 minute hayride for you & the kids, furry ones too is complimentary with any tasting.
Afterwards enjoy a glass and bring a picnic to take in the views of the vineyard. Plenty of grassy area to unwind and games to play too! All and all you are destined to have a Sunday Funday at Rancho Guejito.
Open Sunday only from 12-7pm
