Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park
This park was once a part of 2500+ acres of a working Ranch. The City of Carlsbad has preserved this historic site & restored many of the original buildings which now sit on a 27 acre parcel.
Take the self guided tour of 11 unique sites around the Historical Park. Like the Wash House, Pool & Cabana, Cantina, Carriage House & many other restored buildings. The self guided tour is a trek with some steep terrain…it can take up to 2hrs so make sure to wear comfortable shoes & sunblock. Click here for a link to the Self Guided Tour.
If you’re lucky you might catch a shot of one of the Peacocks that roam around the park.
Entrance to the park & self guided tours are free. Park is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9-5pm & Sunday 11-5pm. Closed Monday.
Guided Tours are available on the weekends, twice each day.
11am & 1pm on Saturday and 12pm & 2pm on Sunday. Tours depart from the Visitor’s Center.
