Looking to rent: www.forrent.com has released new tools to help you find the perfect apartment in North County San Diego.
“ForRent.com now lets users hunt for apartments by individual school attendance zones or neighborhood. Users see a list of neighborhoods and schools on the left-hand side of the search results page. After performing a search by city, state or ZIP code, a schools tab populates alphabetically with pertinent school data.” Read more from Inman News.
Why should all of the good data go only to home buyers? For too long, the rental consumer has had to do more than their fair share of leg work. We are pleased to see companies taking up the slack to service folks that deserve it! As always, it helps to combine the best features of multiple websites. Here are a few more sources to find local rentals:
Craigslist is your classic go to local site. Make sure to check with references to avoid getting scammed :/
Apartments.com, like forrent.com has you contact property managers directly, avoiding some of the pitfalls of peer to peer renting.
Zillow.com is geared more to home rental than apartments. One of the better places to look for single family detached and attached homes in the area.
U-T San Diego is your online newspaper. Beats looking through the classifieds!
