Strategy first, it’s that simple.

I’m in Real Estate. Oh! So is my “insert relative/friend/co-worker/stranger” is a Realtor. Yeah, we know. Everyone who has a license can practice. But folks there in lies the rub, PRACTICE. Strategy. Seek. Hire.

It’s that’s simple. Strategy is needed. Seeking is work. Hiring is a breeze.

HOW? You ask.

Strategy

Sure, it can be simple to hire an agent when you take a bit of calculated time to purposely choose the professional you are going to work with for the next 3 months or more! Essentially, it’s a relationship but don’t let that stop you from exploring your options before making the commitment. Their strategy is needed.

Seeking

Recently, our agent Holly had an opportunity to interview for the job of selling a home. The property is in a trust and a relative is dealing with the logistics of the estate. Naturally, this person was seeking many opinions when it came to a Realtor, 4 of them for the record and each likely came with their own set of options or not. We, 1850 Realty, were called to bat and hit it out of the park!

Hiring

Not only do we dedicate time to researching the comparable sales but we dissect the market trends and help predict the best course of action by building a selling strategy that’s beneficial for creating a smooth and successful Real Estate experience, making hiring us a breeze.

Broker insight 

As a broker, I’ve seen hundreds if not near a thousand contracts over the course of my career. Scenarios are unique to their situations and that’s what makes it rewarding for a practitioner like myself and our agents as they adapt the 1850 ways. We’ve been down the road, we’re on it regularly in fact and creating solutions that turn into results is our jam!

As you might have guessed, our newest agent, Holly Hogan, just secured her first listing! I am so proud of her. She followed up like no other, building trust and maintaining consistency because that is what we do as Realtors. Tenacity. You either have it or you don’t. No amount of promises can overcome someone with will.

These are the characteristics I look for in members of my team.
